This helpless little archetype is about a women so beauitful and helpless at the same time. Devoted to being physically attractive and concealed far away in a lonley castle awaiting rescue, a women expected to marry a man that will give her a castle and take her soul.

Not only are Damsels in Distress in fairy tales, but they were often very popular in the 1980's. She would be the one tied to rail roads as a train is coming along, waiting the hero to come.
